Cannabis Times Radio Host

West Coast host Mr. Chris Bazaz. A strong  cannabis activist who moved from Massachusetts to the East Bay in hopes of building a career in the cannabis industry focusing on cultivation and media productions. I’ve spent years in the electrical trade in order to develop the skills necessary for grow room construction. I graduated from Emerson College with a degree in film to use my understanding of the media to push forward a positive but truthful image of cannabis. I regularly attend bi-weekly ASA meetings and monthly NORML meetings. While pushing cannabis civil rights on a legislative level is key I feel that changing public opinion for the better can be achieved through mainstream media, particularly television, major motion pictures, and of course radio. Alcohol and tobacco companies spend millions of dollars on advertising to display there products in a positive light. Cannabis is safer then either of these to products so logically it’s only a matter of time before cannabis can be advertised positively to the same degree. Join me on Cannabis Times Radio and lets work together in making people understand the powerful benefits Cannabis for us all.

Kevin Patten is an activist and essayist living in the San Gabriel Valley.  A steadfast opponent of penal reform, he believes that the prohibition of cannabis and other illicit substances is having a reverse effect inside the prisons by creating even more criminal mentalities.  His essays Cancerfornia:  A Letter to the Golden State and Bastard InstitutionThe Results of California’s Tough on Crime Policies define his criticism of the Prison Networks.  You can also check out his YouTube page.  Cultural commentator, political critic and all around anarchist, Kevin contributes to many start-up websites and blogs and thinks the first step in ending the madness is by alerting the people to the dangers of prohibition; warning against the “religion of punishment.”  To contact Kevin send him a message at
