Newt Gingrich Supports Rendition of Cannabis Users

The first of December saw the passage of SB: 1867, the Government’s official declaration of war against United States citizens. The bill, a so-called Defense Appropriations Act, has effectively declared the homeland of the U.S. as part of the “global War on the Terror”, allowing for an undesired authority which sees the U.S. Military having complete discretion over Due Process of Law. Late-night renditions could be in the near future.

Under Section 1031, “Congress affirms that the authority of the President to use all necessary and appropriate force pursuant to the Authorization for Use of Military Forces, including the authority for the Armed Forces of the United States to detain covered persons pending disposition under the law of war.”

“Covered persons” is defined as anyone who helped terrorists carry out the 9/11 Attacks, or any person who was a “part of or substantially supported al-Qaeda, the Taliban, or associated forces that are engaged in hostilities against the United States or its coalition partners, including any person who has committed a belligerent act or has directly supported such hostilities in aid of such enemy forces.” Precluded from this definition is, of course, the State – which has just put al Qaeda forces into post-Gaddafi Libya. Not precluded are “9-11 Truthers” – who believe that the Bush Jr. Regime had a hand in the Attacks. Belligerent? At times, maybe. But until now, not illegal.

The Constitution, God-Given Inalienable Rights, Government of the People, and even reason itself – things once adored by our fellow countrymen, and sanctified only with the spilt blood of fellow patriots – are now gone. They were recently flushed down some toilet in D.C. after having been used and discarded by Washington whores (not the more desired ones found in city streets) and their multi-gazillion-dollar corporate sponsors.

One such disgusting figure on this transnational level is the GOP Presidential hopeful, Newt Gingrich; a treasonous man who says that, “terrorists’ do not have the same protected rights as low-level offenders.” Or something to that effect. While not addressing the recent senate bill directly, Newt basically supported the same neo-conservative mentality of security before liberty.

But his position is provably inaccurate. He’s much worse than you’d have him believe. In 1990, along with Senator Phil Gramm, he introduced “U.S. Congressional document” H.R. 4079 – an early leg of the modern-day Police State. The bill introduced was written “in order to remove violent criminals from the streets and meet the extraordinary threat that is posed to the nation by the trafficking of illegal drugs. [The] Congress declares the existence of a National Drug and Crime Emergency.” (Source: Jim Keith. Casebook on Alternative 3)

H.R. 4079 “provides for the arrest of large numbers of people merely suspected of drug usage or dealing, and once arrested the suspected individuals would be incarcerated in one of many forced labor camp.” Naturally without 5th Amendment provisions. As seen here, the Presidential “front-runner” is no stranger to acts of sedition, and in the past has done much work in getting those darned Right’s taken away from not only “terrorists” but also lowly drug traffickers as well.

A quick side note: Newt’s partner, Senator Gramm, once attempted to challenge an amendment in the Iraq International Law Compliance Act of 1990. The D’Amato Amendment made it illegal for the Bush Senior’s Regime to sell arms to Iraq unless Saddam Hussein had promised to comply with human rights provisions. Gramm’s counter amendment would have allowed Bush to veto the D’Amato Amendment sanctions if “it found that [those] sanctions against Iraq hurt US businesses and farms more than they hurt Iraq.” (Source: Gramm’s Wikipedia Page) What was that statement about politicians keeping strange bed-fellows? Whoever said it would probably be surprised at witnessing today’s world of global corporate militarism; always financially supported by the Shadow Banker.

A few strange facts bring Gingrich’s treason and flip-flopping closer to the topical issues. A Huffington Post article quotes a young Newt Gingrich who, in 1982, wrote an article for Journal of the American Medical Association. The issue? Medical marijuana. Newt’s position? Have a look:

“We believe licensed physicians are competent to employ marijuana, and patients have a right to employ marijuana legally, under medical supervision from a regulated source. The medical prohibition does not prevent seriously ill patients from employing marijuana; it simply deprives them of medical supervision and access to a regulated medical substance. Physicians are often forced to choose between their ethical responsibilities to the patient and their legal liabilities to federal bureaucrats.”

Actual support for medical marijuana? For a while, it appeared so. Even more, a year after the introduction of H.R. 4079, Gingrich introduced pro-medical marijuana legislation into the Senate. Fast-forward twenty years into the future, today, and we see a campaign-weary Gingrich who tells Yahoo News! that he is “prepared to say as a matter of value that it [is] better to send a clear signal on no drug use at the risk of inconveniencing some people, than it [is] to be compassionate toward a small group at the risk of telling a much larger group that it was okay to use the drug.” Just like a lizard, Newt has just changed his appearance yet again.

So to recap: First, Gingrich was for the legal rights of cannabis patients. Then, he wanted the ability to lock-up every drug user and drug trafficker forever without charges. After that, he introduced legalization protecting the legal rights of cannabis patients. And just now, he has just said it is a bad idea to promote illegal drugs at the expense of dying cancer patients. All the while advocating rendition for American citizens. “Within a year of my original support of that bill I withdrew it,” Newt said of his early legislative effort.

Where does that bring us right now? Today, a few weeks before Iowa? Directly into the candidacy of one Mr. Herman Cain, who’s just folded and given up his Presidential campaign. Cain was doing remarkable well in the polls, after his much-touted “9-9-9” tax plan was given an enormous push by the Media Elites. Then something changed: Gingrich saw a quick and incisive surge in the polls. Why would the Elites want a freshman candidate in Cain when they can have a New World Order front man leading the pack? It was time to say goodbye to Cain, and we just did.

Constitutions don’t have funerals. People do. History has provided many examples of what happens after a State has declared, ambiguously, war against its own citizens. Hitler purged his fellow countryman who didn’t agree with his program of dictatorship and genocide. What happens now is anyone’s guess. Let’s hope our military personal does the right thing.
